These Terms preserve the commercial rules chosen for Castle Of Gifts. They explain how the E-Boutique works, how orders are placed and processed, and the responsibilities of customers and the company.

Last Update: July 2026

Introduction and General Information

What are these Terms and Conditions?

These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the Castle Of Gifts E-Boutique and the purchase of products through www.castleofgifts.store.

They explain how orders are placed, accepted, paid, produced, delivered and, where applicable, returned or otherwise remedied.

By placing an order, you agree to the Terms applicable to that order.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

Who operates Castle Of Gifts?

Castle Of Gifts is an ecommerce brand operated by 3D TEXTILE PATTERN SRL, a Romanian company. Designora Studio is the company’s in-house creative studio, where artwork, visual worlds and product concepts are developed. For further company information, please visit the Legal page.

What type of store is Castle Of Gifts?

Castle Of Gifts is an online seasonal gifts and decor store. Many products are manufactured, printed, assembled, packed and dispatched on demand by third-party production partners after a customer places an order.

What does “made on demand” mean?

“Made on demand” means that production normally begins after an order has been placed rather than the product being taken from finished warehouse inventory.

Depending on the product, production may include printing, manufacturing, assembly or packaging by a third-party production partner.

A product being made on demand does not by itself mean that it is personalized or made according to the customer's individual specifications.

Any statutory withdrawal rights or exceptions applicable to a particular product are determined by applicable consumer law and are explained further in our Returns policy.

Which other policies apply?

These Terms should be read together with the following Castle Of Gifts pages:

Product descriptions, checkout information, customs notices and order confirmations also form part of the information supplied in connection with a particular purchase.

Where mandatory consumer law gives you additional rights, those rights take priority over any conflicting provision of these Terms.

How can I contact Castle Of Gifts?
For further questions, customers may contact Castle Of Gifts customer service department through the Contact page. Questions about personal-information processing may also be sent to info@castleofgifts.store.

Commercial Policy and Eligibility

Who may purchase from the E-Boutique?

The Castle Of Gifts E-Boutique is intended primarily for consumer purchases.

A consumer is an individual purchasing products for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession.

Customers must have the legal capacity required to enter into a binding purchase contract.

Where a person does not have full legal capacity to enter into the transaction independently, the purchase should be made or authorized by a parent, legal guardian or other person legally permitted to act on their behalf.

Can Castle Of Gifts refuse or cancel an order?

Castle Of Gifts may refuse an order before acceptance, or cancel an order where legally permitted, for reasons such as:

  • payment failure;

  • suspected fraud or unlawful activity;

  • an invalid or undeliverable address;

  • product unavailability;

  • inability of the production partner to fulfil the order;

  • legal or shipping restrictions;

  • a material pricing or technical error; or

  • another circumstance that makes lawful fulfilment impossible.

Where payment has already been collected for an order or item that Castle Of Gifts lawfully cancels, the relevant amount will be refunded.

Once a binding contract has been formed, cancellation by Castle Of Gifts remains subject to applicable consumer law.

Do these Terms apply to business or wholesale purchases?
These General Conditions of Sale are intended for consumer purchases through the E-Boutique. Any business, resale, wholesale or professional order requires separate written approval and may be subject to different terms.
Can these Terms change?
Castle Of Gifts may modify these Terms from time to time. The applicable conditions are those in effect on the date the customer places the order. Changes do not retroactively replace the terms already applicable to an earlier accepted order.
What happens if another set of conditions conflicts with these Terms?

These Terms apply to consumer purchases through the Castle Of Gifts E-Boutique together with the policies and product-specific information incorporated into them.

More specific product-page, checkout or order information may apply to a particular transaction.

Nothing in these Terms takes priority over mandatory consumer rights or other legal protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Products Offered for Sale

What products are available for purchase?
The products available for purchase are those displayed on the Castle Of Gifts E-Boutique. Availability may change, and a product may be removed, paused or become unavailable before an order is accepted.
Where can I find product information?
Each product has a description prepared for Castle Of Gifts. Customers can read it by opening the relevant product page. The page may contain information about the design, materials, dimensions, size, care, production and delivery.
Are product photographs exact?
Every effort is made to ensure that product photographs, renders and descriptions are as accurate as possible. However, the physical item may not be identical to the image, particularly in relation to color, screen display, placement, texture or normal manufacturing variation.
Can colors appear different in person?
Yes. Screens display colors differently, and printing methods, materials and lighting can change the final appearance. Reasonable differences of this kind are not automatically product defects.
Can product measurements or print placement vary?
Small production tolerances may occur because products are manufactured individually. Slight variation in dimensions, placement, scale or finish can be part of the normal production process.
What happens if a product page contains an error?
Castle Of Gifts may correct technical, typographical, descriptive or pricing errors. If a material error is discovered before the order is accepted, the information may be corrected. If it is discovered after an order is placed, Castle Of Gifts may contact the customer with the available options. For more information, read the Returns page.
Is Castle Of Gifts responsible for every small difference or website error?

Minor variations caused by screen display, materials, printing methods or normal manufacturing tolerances do not automatically mean that a product is defective or non-conforming.

However, products must still correspond to the contract and to the product information that customers are legally entitled to rely upon.

Nothing in this section limits any mandatory right relating to faulty, incorrect or non-conforming goods.

How do production locations affect my order?

Castle Of Gifts products may be produced in different countries depending on the product, delivery destination, production capacity, availability and fulfilment arrangements.

The Shipping section of each product page shows the production locations currently associated with that product.

Where several locations are listed, a particular country is not guaranteed unless the product page expressly states otherwise.

Use the Shipping From... page to identify products that have production options within your customs region.

How does Castle Of Gifts provide customs information?

Castle Of Gifts uses the customs region associated with the customer's destination together with the production regions available for each product.

When a product may be produced outside the customer's customs region, a Customs Information notice may appear on the product page, in the cart or during checkout.

The notice indicates that import VAT or GST, customs duty, clearance charges, brokerage or carrier handling fees may be possible.

It does not mean that a particular customs charge will definitely apply.

Further information is available on our Customs and Shipping From... pages.

Placing an Order

Where can I place an order?
Orders are placed online through the Castle Of Gifts website at www.castleofgifts.store.
How does the checkout process work?

During checkout, customers can review the products, quantities, billing and delivery information, shipping charges, applicable taxes collected by Castle Of Gifts and the total amount payable before submitting the order.

Customers should check all information carefully before placing the order.

The final order action clearly indicates that submitting the order creates an obligation to pay.

When is an order considered final?

Submitting an order sends the customer's purchase request to Castle Of Gifts and creates an obligation to pay where the order is accepted.

A binding sales contract is formed when Castle Of Gifts accepts the order and provides confirmation of that acceptance, subject to any mandatory rights that continue to apply after conclusion of the contract.

After an order has entered the automated production process, voluntary changes or cancellations may no longer be possible.

Statutory withdrawal, conformity and other consumer rights remain unaffected.

Does submitting an order guarantee acceptance?

No.

An order may be reviewed for successful payment, product availability, production feasibility, delivery restrictions, address validity, fraud prevention and compliance with these Terms.

Castle Of Gifts may refuse an order before acceptance where there is a legitimate reason to do so.

If an order cannot be accepted after payment has already been collected, the relevant payment will be refunded.

What if I do not receive confirmation or cancellation within one day?
If the customer receives neither an order confirmation nor a cancellation email within one day, the customer should contact customer service.
Can I correct a mistake before final confirmation?
Yes. The checkout steps are designed to let customers review and change the information entered before the order is finally submitted. Once final confirmation is given, the automated made-on-demand process may prevent later changes.

Order Processing and Confirmation

How are orders processed?
After final confirmation and payment authorization, the order may be transferred to the relevant third-party supplier for production, packing and dispatch. Because the process is automated and products are assembled on demand, work may begin quickly.
What information is included in the order confirmation?
The confirmation normally records the products ordered, quantities, price, payment details, billing and delivery information, and other relevant order information. Customers should review it and contact customer service promptly if something appears incorrect.
Should I keep the confirmation email?
Yes. Castle Of Gifts recommends keeping the confirmation email electronically or on paper as proof of the order.
Can I view my order online?
The order form is stored in Castle Of Gifts’s database for the duration of order processing and in accordance with legal requirements. Customers with an E-Boutique account may view their order by signing in.
What happens if an item is unavailable?

If an ordered product becomes unavailable and cannot reasonably be fulfilled, Castle Of Gifts will inform the customer.

The affected item or order may be cancelled where necessary.

If payment has already been collected for the cancelled item, the corresponding amount will be refunded using the appropriate payment method.

Where only part of an order is affected, the remaining available products may continue through fulfilment unless circumstances require otherwise.

What happens if an order is delayed beyond the agreed delivery period?

Delivery estimates are shown in the relevant product and shipping information. For consumers protected by EU rules, unless another delivery time has been agreed, goods must generally be delivered without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the contract is concluded. If an applicable delivery deadline is missed, the customer retains any rights provided by mandatory consumer law, including rights relating to an additional delivery period and, where the legal conditions are met, termination of the contract.

Is Castle Of Gifts liable if a product is backordered or no longer available?
Castle Of Gifts is not liable merely because a product becomes backordered or unavailable. Where this affects an order, the customer will be informed and the unavailable product will not be charged or will be handled through the appropriate payment correction.

Selling Prices, Taxes and Shipping Charges

In which currency are prices displayed?

Prices are displayed in the currency shown on the product page and during checkout.

The principal store currency may be EUR (€), although another currency may be displayed where the Website or checkout supports it.

The currency applicable to the transaction is shown before the order is submitted.

Do product prices include taxes and shipping?

The product price is shown before shipping charges are added. Taxes collected by Castle Of Gifts depend on the transaction and delivery destination and will be shown in the order summary or at checkout where applicable. Shipping charges are calculated separately. Import VAT or GST, customs duties, brokerage fees, customs-clearance fees and carrier handling charges are also separate unless checkout expressly states that they are included or prepaid.

Can prices change?
Yes. Item prices may change at any time for future orders. The selling price applicable to an order is the price displayed in the E-Boutique when the order is placed, unless a typographical or technical error has occurred.
What happens if the displayed price is wrong?

Castle Of Gifts may correct genuine technical or typographical pricing errors.

If a material pricing error is identified before an order is accepted, Castle Of Gifts may contact the customer and offer the choice of placing the order at the correct price or cancelling the order.

Castle Of Gifts will not unilaterally increase the agreed price of an already accepted consumer contract where doing so would conflict with applicable law.

If cancellation is necessary after payment has been collected, the affected amount will be refunded.

Are customs duties included?

Customs duties, import VAT or GST, brokerage, customs-clearance charges and carrier handling fees imposed during import are separate from the Castle Of Gifts order total unless checkout expressly states that a particular import charge has been collected or prepaid.

Castle Of Gifts displays customs notices where a product may be produced outside the customer's customs region.

For further information, see the Customs, Customs & Import Fees Guide and Shipping From... pages.

Payment and Billing

When must an order be paid?
All purchases made through the E-Boutique must be paid at the time of order.
Which payment methods are accepted?

The payment methods currently accepted are those displayed during checkout.

Availability may depend on the customer's country, currency, device or payment provider.

A payment method is available for an order only when it is presented as an option at checkout.

When is my card charged?

Payment is normally authorized or collected when the order is placed, depending on the payment method and payment provider. Some transactions may initially appear as a pending authorization before final capture. If an item later becomes unavailable, any amount that should not be charged will either not be captured or will be corrected or refunded as appropriate.

What card information must I provide?

If you pay by card, the payment provider may ask you to enter your card number, expiry date, security code, billing address and other information required to authorize the payment through its secure payment interface. Castle Of Gifts does not intend to store full card numbers or card security codes on its own systems.

How is payment information used?

Payment and transaction information is processed to:

  • complete and verify payment;

  • associate payment with the correct order;

  • prevent or investigate fraud;

  • administer payment disputes;

  • process refunds where applicable; and

  • maintain legally required financial records.

Payment providers may process information independently under their own privacy and security arrangements.

Further information is available in our Privacy Policy.

Can an order be cancelled if payment is refused?
Yes. Castle Of Gifts reserves the right to cancel an order or shipment when payment is refused by the customer’s card company or payment cannot be successfully completed.
Can Castle Of Gifts refuse an order because of an earlier payment problem?
Yes. Castle Of Gifts may refuse delivery or fulfilment of an order placed by a customer who has an outstanding balance on a previous order or with whom a payment dispute is pending.
What happens if someone uses a fraudulent payment method?

Castle Of Gifts may cancel or suspend an order where there are reasonable grounds to suspect payment fraud or other unlawful activity.

We may also take reasonable steps to protect the Website, transaction and affected parties and, where appropriate, report suspected unlawful activity to the relevant payment provider or competent authority.

Can I use more than one payment method?
Only the payment options made available during checkout can be used. Unless the checkout expressly offers split payment, one payment method is used for each order.
Will I receive a billing record?
Order and billing records may be provided electronically through the confirmation email, customer account or invoice process used by Castle Of Gifts.

Ownership and Transfer of Risk

When does ownership transfer to the customer?

Ownership of the goods transfers in accordance with the sales contract and applicable law once the required payment has been successfully completed.

Any retention-of-title arrangement does not alter the separate legal rules governing when the risk of loss or damage passes to the customer.

Does providing a payment method count as payment?
No. Merely providing a payment method does not constitute completed payment. Payment must be successfully received.
What happens if the customer does not fulfil the payment obligation?

If a payment obligation remains unpaid or a payment is reversed without lawful justification, Castle Of Gifts may suspend fulfilment where possible, restrict future orders and take lawful steps to recover amounts properly due.

Any recovery action will be subject to applicable law and the customer's mandatory rights.

When does the risk of loss or damage transfer?

Where Castle Of Gifts or its fulfilment partner arranges delivery, the risk of loss or damage generally remains with the seller until the customer, or another person designated by the customer other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods.

If the customer independently commissions a carrier that was not offered by Castle Of Gifts, different rules may apply and risk may pass when the goods are handed to that carrier.

This does not affect any mandatory rights relating to damaged, faulty or missing goods.

Delivery and Returns

Where can I find delivery rules?
Delivery destinations, shipping fees, estimates, tracking, split shipments, customs and delivery problems are explained on the Shipping and Customs pages.
Can products in one order be delivered separately?
Yes. Because items may be produced by different third-party suppliers, they may be packed and shipped separately. The Shipping page explains how this works.
Where can I find return and refund rules?
The conditions for returns, refunds, exchanges, faulty items, incorrect products, damaged products and returned-to-sender parcels are explained on the Returns page.
What return or withdrawal rights apply after I place an order?

Castle Of Gifts does not offer a voluntary general change-of-mind return programe beyond rights required by applicable law.

However, placing or confirming an order does not remove any statutory right of withdrawal, legal guarantee or other mandatory consumer remedy that applies to the purchase.

For eligible EU distance purchases, a statutory 14-day withdrawal right will generally apply unless a legal exception applies.

Products genuinely made according to the customer's individual specifications or clearly personalized may be subject to an exception.

Full details are provided in our Returns policy.

Does the fact that a product is print-on-demand remove my legal consumer rights?

No.

The fact that a product is manufactured only after an order is placed does not by itself remove statutory consumer rights.

Different rules may apply where a product is genuinely made according to the customer's individual specifications or clearly personalized.

Castle Of Gifts' voluntary return policy and the applicable statutory rights are explained separately on the Returns page.

How can I exercise a statutory right of withdrawal online?

Where a statutory right of withdrawal applies, the customer may exercise it through the online withdrawal function made available by Castle Of Gifts during the applicable withdrawal period.

The function allows the customer to identify the relevant order and submit a clear withdrawal request electronically.

Castle Of Gifts will provide confirmation that the online withdrawal request has been received.

Further instructions, including any applicable return procedure and return-shipping responsibility, are provided on our Returns page.

Do Castle Of Gifts products have a legal guarantee of conformity?

Where applicable consumer law provides a legal guarantee of conformity, Castle Of Gifts honors that guarantee.

For consumers in the European Union, goods are generally protected by a minimum two-year legal guarantee against lack of conformity.

Where a product is faulty, incorrect or otherwise non-conforming, remedies may include repair or replacement and, where the legal conditions are met, a price reduction or termination of the contract.

Further information is provided on our Returns page.

Force Majeure

What is a force majeure event?

A force majeure or similar event is an exceptional circumstance outside the reasonable control of the affected party that prevents or materially delays performance.

Depending on the circumstances, examples may include severe natural disasters, war, governmental restrictions, major transport disruption, widespread infrastructure failure or other exceptional events that could not reasonably have been avoided or overcome.

Ordinary business difficulties or circumstances within Castle Of Gifts' reasonable control are not automatically treated as force majeure.

What happens if a force majeure event affects an order?

If an exceptional event outside reasonable control materially affects an order, performance may be delayed for the period reasonably affected by that event.

Where practical, Castle Of Gifts will inform affected customers and provide updated information.

This clause does not remove mandatory consumer rights relating to delivery, termination, reimbursement or other remedies where those rights apply.

Website Use and Intellectual Property

Who owns the website content?
All content on the Castle Of Gifts website is and remains the exclusive intellectual property of 3D TEXTILE PATTERN, unless another rights holder is expressly identified.
May I copy or reuse website content?
No individual is authorized to reproduce, exploit, redistribute or use, even partially, content from the website, including software, visuals or sound, without prior permission.
May I create a hyperlink to the website?

Ordinary links to publicly accessible Castle Of Gifts pages are permitted provided that the link:

  • is lawful;

  • does not falsely suggest sponsorship, endorsement or partnership;

  • does not misrepresent Castle Of Gifts or its products;

  • does not reproduce protected content beyond what is legally permitted; and

  • does not frame or present the Website in a misleading way.

Use of Castle Of Gifts trademarks, artwork or other protected material for commercial purposes may require prior written permission.

What website activities are prohibited?
Customers may not use the website unlawfully, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce harmful code, copy protected content, impersonate another person, commit fraud or use automated tools in a way that damages the website or infringes rights.
Is uninterrupted website access guaranteed?
No. With regard to the online sales process, Castle Of Gifts has a best-efforts obligation to provide the service. Access may be interrupted for maintenance, security, technical failures or events beyond its control.
Is Castle Of Gifts liable for every internet-related problem?

Castle Of Gifts cannot guarantee that every internet connection, third-party network or customer device will operate without interruption, error or security incident.

We are not responsible for problems caused solely by systems or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

However, nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits any mandatory consumer right relating to the operation of the Website, payment process or sales contract.

Are third-party websites governed by these Terms?
No. External websites and services linked from the E-Boutique are governed by their own terms and policies. A link does not transfer responsibility for the independent third party’s content or operation.

Personal Information and Cookies

Does Castle Of Gifts collect customer information?
Yes. Castle Of Gifts may collect information about customers, including through cookies, to operate the store, process orders, communicate with customers and provide the website and services.
Can customer information be shared with third parties?

Yes, where necessary and lawful.

Information may be shared with service providers involved in operating Castle Of Gifts and fulfilling orders, including:

  • payment processors;

  • print-on-demand platforms;

  • production and fulfilment partners;

  • carriers and postal operators;

  • hosting and security providers; and

  • other service providers described in our Privacy Policy.

Optional analytics, marketing or similar processing is handled according to the consent and other requirements explained in our Privacy and Cookie policies.

Can I opt out of information sharing?

ou can control optional processing where the applicable law provides that choice, including through cookie settings, marketing preferences and applicable privacy rights.

However, information necessary to process payment, manufacture the product, arrange delivery, maintain legally required records or otherwise perform the sales contract cannot always be withheld while still completing the requested transaction.

Further information and available privacy controls are explained in our Privacy and Cookie policies.

Where can I read the full privacy information?
Customers may review the full conditions in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. For questions about personal-information processing, contact info@castleofgifts.store.

Archiving and Electronic Records

Does Castle Of Gifts keep order and invoice records?
Yes. Castle Of Gifts archives orders and invoices using a reliable and durable system so that copies can be maintained for operational and legal purposes.
Can electronic records be used as evidence?

Yes.

Electronic records relating to orders, confirmations, payments, communications and transactions may be retained and used as evidence where permitted by law.

This does not prevent a customer from challenging the accuracy, authenticity or legal effect of a particular record where they are entitled to do so.

How long are records kept?
Records are kept for the duration needed to process orders and for the periods required by applicable legal, accounting, tax, security and dispute-resolution obligations. More information about personal-data retention appears in the Privacy Policy.

Customer Accounts and Communications

What responsibilities apply to a customer account?
Customers must provide accurate information, keep login details secure and promptly notify Castle Of Gifts if they suspect unauthorized access. Account use must comply with these Terms.
Can an account be suspended or closed?
Castle Of Gifts may restrict, suspend or close an account where reasonably necessary because of fraud, unlawful use, security concerns, outstanding balances, pending payment disputes or material breach of these Terms.
What happens to an accepted order if an account is closed?

Closing or suspending a customer account does not automatically cancel an order that has already been accepted.

An accepted order remains subject to these Terms and will continue to be processed unless it is separately cancelled or otherwise affected in accordance with these Terms or applicable law.

We may continue to send order-related communications to the email address provided with the order. Closing an account does not remove any payment obligations, refund rights, legal guarantees or other mandatory consumer rights connected with an existing order.

How are important notices sent?
Order confirmations, payment notices, delivery information and other important messages may be sent electronically to the email address supplied by the customer. Customers are responsible for keeping contact information accurate and checking spam or junk folders.

Complaints and Customer Support

How can I submit a complaint?
Contact Castle Of Gifts through the Contact page and provide your name, order number, the email used for the order, a clear description of the issue and any relevant evidence. For privacy-related matters, use info@castleofgifts.store.
What information should I avoid sending?
Do not send passwords, complete card numbers, card security codes or unnecessary identity documents by email.
What happens if a complaint cannot be resolved directly?
The customer may use the dispute-resolution options available under applicable law. Further company and legal information appears on the Legal page.

Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

Which law applies to these Terms?

These Terms and contracts concluded through Castle Of Gifts are governed by Romanian law, subject to applicable conflict-of-law rules.

Where Castle Of Gifts directs its commercial activities to a consumer's country of habitual residence, the choice of Romanian law does not deprive that consumer of mandatory protections that would apply under the law of their habitual residence where applicable law provides such protection.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove rights that cannot legally be waived by contract.

Which court has jurisdiction?

Any dispute will be heard by the court or courts having jurisdiction under the mandatory rules applicable to the particular dispute.

Where European Union consumer-jurisdiction rules apply, a consumer may have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of their own place of domicile as well as other courts permitted by law.

Castle Of Gifts does not use these Terms to remove any jurisdictional protection that mandatory consumer law gives to the customer.

Where can I find more legal information?
For further legal information, please visit the Legal page.

General Contract Provisions

What happens if part of these Terms is invalid?
If one provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent that the agreement can operate without the affected part.
Does failure to enforce a provision waive it?
No. A delay or failure to enforce a right does not normally mean that the right has been waived.
Can Castle Of Gifts transfer its rights or obligations?
Castle Of Gifts may transfer rights or obligations where permitted by law, including in connection with a reorganization or transfer of the business, without reducing the customer’s existing contractual rights.
Which language version applies?

Contractual information required by Romanian consumer law is provided in Romanian.

Castle Of Gifts may also make these Terms and related information available in English or other languages for customer convenience.

Where different language versions are provided, they should be interpreted consistently and without reducing any mandatory consumer right.

If a translation creates ambiguity, the version required by the law applicable to the particular consumer transaction will prevail to the extent required by that law.
